Jakadiya Mubi Emiratem (Prof Ladi Hamalai) distributed 10000 exercise books, 2000 school bags, 1000 math sets and a few clothing materials at Lamorde Ward. Ahead of the inauguration of the Eight National Assembly in June, an intensive course has been organized by the National Institute for Legislative Studies (NILS) to support new legislators and enable them to make effective contributions to the parliamentary debate.National Assembly correspondent Denis Adegunloye reports on the media briefing by the Director General of NILS, Dr. Ladi Hamalai to enumerate the content of the course.
Work is going on at the permanent site project of the National Institute for Legislative Studies towards it expected completion in 2019.
Reports show that the revelation was when the Director General of the institute, Ladi Hamalai paid a visit on the site to ascertain the level of work done so far.
The project if completed will accommodate a One thousand capacity convention centre, and four lecture theatres.
